Head of Sales
Build and lead our sales function: own the pipeline, close strategic deals, and grow revenue for our cybersecurity and compliance services.
CyberNinja is a Sydney-based cybersecurity and compliance consultancy. We act as a virtual CISO for businesses across Australia and New Zealand, helping them achieve and maintain certifications like ISO 27001, SOC 2, ISO 42001 and PCI DSS. We're small enough that your work matters from day one, and structured enough to help you grow quickly.
We're hiring our first Head of Sales to own revenue growth for CyberNinja. You'll build and run the end-to-end sales motion for our GRC, ISO 27001, and vCISO services, from pipeline and forecasting to closing strategic mid-market and enterprise deals. You'll start hands-on and build a small team as we scale. This is a high-ownership role for a commercial leader who understands how to sell technical, consulting-led services.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle for our GRC and vCISO services, from lead to close
- Build, forecast, and manage a healthy pipeline against revenue targets
- Develop and execute the go-to-market and account strategy
- Hire, build, and mentor a small sales team as we scale
- Partner with delivery and marketing to shape offerings and messaging
- Represent CyberNinja at industry events and with strategic prospects
- 5+ years in B2B sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Right to work in Australia and able to work hybrid (3 days/week) from our Sydney office
- Experience selling technical or consulting services to mid-market or enterprise
- Strong commercial acumen and executive-level communication skills
- Comfortable being hands-on now and building a team later
- Experience selling cybersecurity, compliance, or GRC services
- An existing network across Australian mid-market and enterprise
- Experience standing up or scaling a sales function
