CyberNinja is a Sydney-based cybersecurity and compliance consultancy. We act as a virtual CISO for businesses across Australia and New Zealand, helping them achieve and maintain certifications like ISO 27001, SOC 2, ISO 42001 and PCI DSS. We're looking for an organised, client-focused Project Manager to run our cybersecurity and compliance engagements. You'll own delivery across multiple concurrent client projects, from ISO 27001 and SOC 2 programs to security assessments, coordinating consultants, clients, and auditors to keep everything on track. This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who thrives on structure and clear communication.

What you'll do

Plan and run multiple client compliance engagements (ISO 27001, SOC 2, Essential 8) from kickoff to certification
Own project scope, timelines, budgets, and risk/issue tracking
Coordinate consultants, clients, and external auditors; run status meetings and reporting
Maintain project documentation, RAID logs, and delivery artefacts
Identify scope creep and delivery risks early, and drive them to resolution

What we're looking for

3+ years managing projects, ideally in cybersecurity, IT, or professional services
Right to work in Australia and able to work hybrid (3 days/week) from our Sydney office
Strong stakeholder-management and written/verbal communication skills
Comfortable managing several concurrent engagements and competing priorities
Familiarity with project methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, or PMBOK)

Nice to have

PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project management certification
Exposure to ISO 27001, SOC 2, or other compliance frameworks
Experience with delivery tooling such as Jira, Asana, or MS Project
